Upsite is an aerial media and metrics company that is led by Chris Lierheimer.

Chris has a lifelong passion for photography and videography. From a young age, he created skydiving and paragliding films with his closest friends. As a creative, he sought to continuously push the boundaries of what was possible. Eventually, he started using drones in his work.

Chris is a trailblazer. As a Project Engineer for PCL Construction in Denver, Chris pioneered the use of drones on construction sites, opening the door to aerial mapping use in the company around the U.S. Chris was responsible for monitoring and construction site mapping. For years, he built up his experience with a wide range of local construction firms.

Years later, Chris moved to New Zealand with his wife. He soon uncovered an untapped market for construction industry drone surveying. Chris hopes to make aerial mapping more accessible to local construction companies – so that their trade can be revolutionized. Upsite’s partners in New Zealand have already seen their level of service exponentially increase.
